Influence of Manufacturing Tolerances and Eccentricities on the Unbalanced Magnetic Pull in Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors

Eccentricity is an inevitable fault in electric motors and hence its diagnosis important topic. Thus, the influence of static dynamic eccentricities on harmonics frequency spectra unbalanced magnetic pull analyzed. In this article, dimensional tolerances rotor stator are also considered. All parts have their designs real magnitudes vary to some extent from theoretical values after manufacturing process. Thanks analytical calculations finite element simulations, verified with experimental results, it observed that deviations originated by produce changes amplitudes additional characteristic pull. These not negligible must be taken into account when robust eccentricity detection procedures defined. Otherwise, can misidentified. Finally, decoupling effect eccentricities, indicators determined, a new methodology based ratios adjacent proposed identify eccentricities.
